It's hard to believe Christmas is this close! I have all my shopping done, I just need to wrap some more gifts and make some Christmas cookies. yum!
It'll be another Tennessee Christmas, since Connecticut is just too far to travel and with Garrett's birthday being just two weeks after Christmas, Grammy and Poppy (my parents) will be coming up for that. Garrett is rolling in the prsents, I mean, ROLLING in them! I had to think of hard of what he didn't have so I could buy him his birthday gifts...he has everything a little boy could ask for and then some. He is so spoiled by his Grandparents and Great Grandparents on both sides!
I am planning my Christmas dinner menu and breakfast menu. I am makin' an old southern classic for breakfast, sausage biscuits..yum! I am still not sure what I will do for the actual Christmas meal...I need ideas! I am browsing my cookbooks and Good Housekeeping mags.
It's so hard to know what to get an almost one year old in their stocking...I googled (yes I do that quite often!) what people have gotten their oner year olds, and I bought paci's, sippy cups, woody and buzz lightyear tee shirt, some little people toys (so cute!),baby fork and spoon set, a bowl,etc...real cute and inexpensive.
Daddy and Garrett are shopping right now, so I am enjoying some free time and sipping coffee...
